Toughman Eligibility & Structure

The "5-Win" Rule

Contestants must have fewer than 5 amateur wins to maintain the level playing field of Toughman competition.

Format Limits

3 rounds x 1 minute duration. No more than 4 matches allowed in a single calendar day to prevent extreme fatigue.

Amateur Only

Zero professional history in boxing, MMA, or kickboxing permitted. This is a strictly amateur platform.

Medical Standards & Safety

Routine Exams

Blood Work: Negative HIV, Hep B/C within 180 days.
Eye Exam: Annual dilated ophthalmologic clearance.
High-Risk: EKG/MRI required for 40+ or fighters with 6+ consecutive losses.

Mandatory Gear

16oz Gloves: Promoters must provide specific gloves to dissipate energy.
Hand Wraps: Soft gauze and surgical tape only; no tape on knuckles.
Headgear: Full protection including abdominal/groin guards and mouthpieces.

Ringside Setup

Physician: Licensed MD must be present at ringside at all times.
EMS Support: Dedicated ambulance with 2 EMTs and portable AED.
Suspensions: Mandatory 60 days for KO; 30 days for TKO recovery.
